2nd time at gold room. Had fun.

This was the 2nd club I visited on my annual March Chicago trip. Gold room is also owed by the same group that runs polekatz. Apparently this is their "upscale or classy" take on strip clubs because it follows a completely different set of rules. Girls wear shear mini dresses or skirts that come off in LD room or VIP room. Stage dancers get $s in garter only. not panties or you get the "we don't do that here sir" by the manager or bouncer. The bouncer/host assigns seats and you can't switch tables unless you ask or go sit at the bar. LD are 30 flat rate except on discounted Thursday nights or maybe during day hours (not sure on the day hours discount). There is mandatory coat check on valet parking. I took ridshare so I don't know how much valet was. 10 cover on Thursday when I went. Layout is main room with decent size stage with I think 3 poles. Separate bar area to your right with flatscreens and what looked like slot machines in a side area.

I arrived about 9ish and got sat in the raised VIP section to the left. The VIP section has its own bar and tiny stage for a single dancer to wiggle on. The VIP section is a bit of a double edged sword. You get your own smaller LD section with no bouncer whichso is more private than the big LD room. The waitstaff in that section is also smoking hot and will sit and hang out with you at times and will offer thier own VIP room dances at inflated prices (600 for 30 mins). The downside is that the majority of the girls are restricted from coming up to the patrons unless you specifically ask for one or are part of the group that is allowed to go up there. Thursdays LD price was 10$ and I was hoping to meet more of a variety of girls to try out so it was a bit of a downer. Also VIP is far off from the main stage so if you like to be close to a good floor show you're kind of out of luck. Drink prices were about 12 for cocktails and about 8$ for beer.

Girls were pretty hot most were 7s and 8s. No 9s or 10s except for 1 of the waitresses. Notable was a lack of anything below a 7 for me.
