Wish I had more time

I was finally able to visit the infamous Vivide. I arrived at about 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, I only had about 45 to 60 minutes to enjoy the place before I had to leave for a dinner appointment.

I took an uber so I can't comment on the parking other than to say the lot looked packed. I got a quick pat down at the door and paid my $20 cover to enter. Your first impression of the club when entering is kind of overwhelming. The upstairs was in full swing and the downstairs was mobbed. I honestly didn't know where my best bet was, but I opted for downstairs. Even though I've read dozens of you all's reviews of the place, I'm not sure anything can quite prepare you for the weird bench seating. I felt like a deer in the headlights for a few minutes trying to figure out where to sit. Some of the dudes were giving off "don't even fucking think about sitting here vibes." I did finally managed to grab a spot near the steps between two other dudes, but man, the whole thing sucked.

The good news is that once I had a spot, it wasn't more than 2 minutes before an attractive AA spinner sat on my lap. After 4 dances, I let her go. Next up was a thin latina with big naturals. 6 excellent dances with her included plenty of ss. Last up I had 3 dances with a thick white chick who kept saying she knew my from Follies. She was so insistent I didn't bother to tell her I had never been.
