First Time at Johnny A's Hitching Post

This was my first visit to Johnny A's Hitching Post. I usually go to Playhouse or Cheerleaders which are closer to me, but I was going to NY so I took a short detour and checked this place out based on some positive reviews. Easy to get to, not far from 155A exit on Garden State. There is plenty of parking. When you walk in, there is a long bar that goes most of the width of the building. There are 2 levels, the top level where you walk is only bar seating, you can take about 2 or 3 steps down to lower area where there are some tables. There is also the couch room area (4 cubicles) on the far right hand side of the lower level. There are 2 VIP couch dance rooms on the top level closer to where you enter.

I got there around 2:00 P.M. There was no cover, and I paid $4 for a club soda. There were for the most part 5 girls dancing on stage at the same time. All appeared to be Latina, I know from speaking to some that they were from Brazil, Columbia, and Venezuela. The one thing different than other clubs is that instead of the girls going around the outside of the bar to collect tips and ask for dances, the girls at random points during their set go around the inside of the bar for tips. As mentioned in other reviews, the dollar parade is pretty consistent and since they come around multiple times you are paying the same girl multiple times. Anyway, since I heard different reports on the amount of the dollar parade, I kept a count for first hour during which I spent exactly $20 in $1 tips, during this time, I did get a couch dance, so perhaps I would have spent another couple dollars if I had been in my seat the entire time.

The other thing different from this club than others I have gone to, is that at least with me (maybe because I was new), I was approached that often for a couch dance. In fact, no one asked me until Vanessa came up after I had been there for 30 minutes (at PH if you are there for 30 minutes you've most likely been approached several times for dances). Anyway, since she was the first 2 ask, I took her back. The dances are $20 a dance. There is some grinding and a little bit of roaming, but not to the extent of PH or some other clubs. I did 2 dances with Vanessa who was a thin Columbian with a nice body; 5 dances with Melinda a thicker Brazilian (not fat, works out, just bigger legs and butt), also did 3 dances with Chrystal a Venezuelan with nice abs and legs; and 3 dances with Catarina a Brazilian with a fit, hardbody. I noticed there was a sign for VIP that said $90 for 30 minutes, I assume the dancer gets paid on top of that (she must), I saw a review that said it was $200 but not sure if that is negotiable (similar to Breathless were the girls negotiate the VIP price) or whether it is standard price for everyone. None of the dancers, tried to upsell the VIP and being new, I didn't bring it up myself, so not sure as to the cost or whether VIP is worth it here.
