So much potential. So little delivered recently. That's the story at DJV Springfield. Fairly hot girls but generally you just get to look. They seem inordinately concerned about "getting caught" and "getting fined." One dancer told me about being "fined" $1,000 by management because she let a customer play with her ass "because I liked it & I wanted him to but I still got fined." Obviously there have to be rules. Dancers need to be protected from guys who have no brain & no common courtesy. But it's a strip club. Customers go there to experience some degree of closeness with the dancers. The girls are certainly capable of saying "no" or calling a bouncer if necessary. So, why the accent on 6th grade rules and penalties for the girls who should be having fun entertaining the customers so they'll spend more money. I heard a lot of talk about a newer club about an hour North, just North of Bloomington. Dancers talking about moving there and quoting customers as liking it. However, I didn't have a chance to check it out. I hope DJV can turn around the atmosphere in Springfield, as it used to be one of my favorite clubs.
