Quiet Sunday evening, but worth the stop
One doesn't expect a lot of excitement at a strip club in a smaller town on a Sunday night. And that's exactly what's delivered at DJV Springfield. Pretty much a basic rotation of 5-6 girls working the pole and occasionally, but not aggressively, offering private dances. I sampled three of them on the couches: one very mechanical and fakey, complete with almost comical heavy breathing. Another who worked hard at it but never really made the sensual connection you like to feel when being given a dance. More of an exercise routine than a private dance. But the third made it worth the trip! Before starting she asked what kind of dances I liked. She told enough about herself to make the experience feel more real. And she let herself go enough that it was apparent she was also enjoying aspects of the dance--it wasn't totally "one way." Interestingly, it was her last night at the club. There was even a cake sitting on the bar wishing her 'good luck.' I think she said she was moving to New Orleans. And I'm guessing she could compete in the clubs on Bourbon Street simply by engaging customers the same way she did with me Sunday night. Nothing nasty, nothing illegal. But a real feeling of "connection" for an hour or so.
