Another wasted friday night

Columbus Gold is definitely in a rut. I visited again last week and paid the typical $10 cover. As has been described before the bar is on the left side of the club as you enter and behind the bar is the regular dance area. Directly across the door is a slightly raised VIP area. I chose of course the regular area. For the last year or so I could just enter the club and sit myself without any bouncer asking to show me a seat. Not this day, one of the bouncers tried and show me a seat, in a club with only 3 customers seated at the bar and 4 tables out of the 40 or so tables occupied, although there was a . I told him I know where to go and sat down.

That alone should have been a hint that this visit would be weak. I suspect the reason the bouncer was seating people is due to the large busload of customers who arrived about 15 minutes after I entered. That killed the day. First the club decided to turn up the video projector that displays on the screen behind the stage and turn up all the strobe light effect, which made it harder to see who was on stage from where I was sitting. Second while there was a decent amount of customers now, there were only about 14 dancers working at around 10:00 PM and two of my favorites were both were tied up the whole night with the large group. I did luck out and another favorite of mine Ebony was there, but she was only one.

I did have my eye on one of newer dancers, a fairly tight bodies fit brunette who I considering getting a dance from her the last few times. Unfortunately, one of the bouncers went up to her and showed her to the bachelor's party. I was able to get a dance from Baby, who while a decent dance, is a bit aloof and mechanical.
