Pleasantly Surprised on a Snowy Monday Afternoon

I'm a part time monger these days, and I felt today was the day to brave the elements and head in to TLS for the first time this year. For the basics: Pulled up the club and got the mandatory valet that came out quickly and took care of me. Headed in and up the stairs to coat check (complimentary, but threw a dollar in the bucket). No cover in the afternoon and I headed right to the bar so I couldn't say what they're asking for these days moneywise if you want a booth.

Its a small 1 level club with an airplane shaped stage and a small VIP section downstairs. Music's not too loud, its not anywhere near as smoky as I remember it being, there are plenty of TVs on, and the club is properly lit (not too dark or too bright). I bought my 9 dollar beer and posted up to see how things were looking today. Since it was early in the afternoon on Monday and was snowing, I was expecting the worst.

They were a good amount of customers compared to what I was expecting, 4 of us around the bar, and 4 around the stage or in booths. As for dancers, I counted 6 (1 or 2 AAs, 4 white, no one below a 6 but no thick ladies if thats your thing) and they were doing what seemed like 4 song sets on stage. The bartenders are usually the best view in the house, but not so much today, which was fine because she took care of me just fine.
