I like it

I have been to Gold Room a couple of times recently so will share observations from a couple of visits. Sister club to Polekatz in Bridgeview and Polekatz in Gary, IN.

Parking is valet only which I hate. I have a nice car that is in great shape (no door dings) and I always assume that the 20 year old valet guy is probably careless. I have parked with them before but typically try to find street parking which is annoying and hard since it is a weird blend of residential and industrial with very few options to park.

They have a coat check upon entry. Cover is usually about $10 with the front desk person. They also have $10 dances on Thursday nights and run $10 dance special nights for other occasions every week or two in addition to newly introduced $10 dances every day from 4-8 pm. The men's room is clean and spacious and there is a troll in the evening. Never a shortage of staff/security but they seem chill. Even though the club opens at noon I have stopped in a few times around 5 or so and it's virtually dead, like one girl so hold off until 7-8 pm. If there's a day of the week that gets going earlier, it would be Thursday.
