Not much has changed but it has its good points.

Not much has changed at Camelot over the years. The building has aged a bit over the years (decades) but it’s generally maintained well so it doesn’t look rundown. The place is usually fairly welcoming and I’ve never had it feel dangerous, like one of the customers (or bouncers) might “go off” if provoked. The location is prime DC real estate, in the business district. The only structural problem is the men’s rooms which are much too small and thus hard to maneuver in and out of even when you’re the only one in them.

A few other DC clubs have started offering LDs in the last few years (I'm not sure how, I don't think the laws changed), but not Camelot. It’s strictly eye-candy but the dancers and bar maids are often top notch, it’s fully nude and the small stage is centrally located, and sight lines are pretty good from most of the club. So, it might be the best place in DC to watch beautiful women take off the clothes with a bit of class. I usually enjoy coming in for an hour or so, having a couple of drinks and chilling out. I prefer visiting in the afternoons rather than the evenings, the dancers are hotter and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The lunch menu used to be good, though I haven’t tried it in a couple of years. Beer prices are about $10-12. There is never a cover charge.

In summary, you’re not going to have a note-worthy experience here but you may have a pleasant one. The place/dancers have some “off days” too but not as many as most clubs. The talent is fairly consistent. The club posts the dancer and server schedules online and keeps them up-to-date which I find helpful and often the sign of a well managed club.
