Not impressed with Tropical Bar

This is the first time I have ever crossed the road from the Hong Kong club to the Tropical Bar. In contrast to the Hong Kong, which was crowded and everyone seemed to be in a rush to get nowhere, the atmosphere at Trop was subdued and calmer. There was definitely less people. There were perhaps more waiters than women, and they were aggressive in hustling drinks.

Now after you enter, you immediately turn right. There are essentially three rooms that are interconnected, with a bar along the far side. So it is basically one long room that seems to stretch an Entire city block. There is a stage, and occasionally a girl with get in there and dance. This happened less than 50% of the time. I guess it is an option for the girls. I had just come from HK, and the ladies at Trop are significantly a step below in terms in terms of appearance, body shape, friendliness, and personality. I did not hit it off with anyone. However, I had to approach them, whereas at HK you are approached every 10 minutes. Even if the HK girls don’t approach you, they smile if you smile at them.

I guess this is sounding more like a review of HK, so let me get back to the Trop. The ladies that I met, they did not seem to have much energy or enthusiasm. Therefore, I did not seek out prices for extras. I presume the prices are similar to the other clubs; I think there is some price fixing among all the clubs.
