OK, one more PIAS visit (why, I don't know)
Several months ago I posted what I thought would be my last review of PIAS. One fellow member, RockAllNight, wrote that if I changed my mind I should be sure to write a review. Well, I didn't really change my mind, but I just so happened to be in the area (which is a ways away for me) and I thought, "What the heck . . ." It was such an unplanned visit that I wasn't even wearing my stripper pants. Who the heck goes to a strip club with blue jeans?! Me, in this case.
I won't bother with the description of the place, because that's been well documented in previous reviews. Actually, I think the layout is fine. The dancers, not so "fine." Not a spinner in the bunch (if 3-4 can be considered a bunch).
No cover in the day, and beer was, I think, $7. Saw Miranda (50-ish mixed, tall and still in good shape overall) camped out at the bar talking to a regular. As my previous review indicated, I learned to stay away from this GPS queen, and did so. Instead, I decided to take a trip down memory lane (which is indeed a long and winding road) and get a dance from Sol, a fairly short and stocky Latina. She is more aggressive than most, and I even got the stripper handshake for old time's sake. Dance was OK, but her lack of attractiveness was a downer. Another 40-something Latina, Paula (or maybe Paulo, not sure how she pronounced it) gave me a similar experience and pushed for a second dance, which I declined. A dark-haired BBW, Diamond, approached me but I politely waved her off.
In short, I was there less than an hour and spent just $50. Not a great -- or even very good at all -- experience, but then I wasn't expecting one. Maybe if things turn around here, I'll return after learning about it from you guys who report better things in future months/years.
