Still A Good Time
This was my first trip back to G2K since pre-Covid, when I would go on a somewhat regular basis. Recent reviews had warned me about the removal of the $20 dances, but I was determined to find some value in NYC either way… and thankfully succeeded.
Walking in around 7pm on weekday to just a quick pat down— no cover or coat check. I’ve seen this place slow before but never as dead as it was on this day. There were maybe 2 other patrons and about 5-6 girls scattered throughout the bar and on stage. Sat down and ordered a $10 bud light.
The dancers here have historically been EE and Latina, with lots of variance in age, body type and looks. The talent definitely was a step down than my pre-Covid visits, where normally I’d be able to find a couple 7-8s, but at first glance I was having a hard time finding myself anything above a 5. At least the hustle pressure was pretty low, which I was worried about given the lack of patrons. Most of the girls here know how to hold a conversation and are pleasant enough when you indicate you’re not interested, which I had to do to a few of the dancers.
