A Little Shakers at Players Club
This is just a quick update. I stepped into Players on Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. The bartender/manager from Shaker's was there and told me she recently started working here and they are having difficulty reopening Shaker's because the local community is giving them push back.
As far as a quick review of Players, it has a small parking in the front; inside there's a small bathroom immediately to the left when you enter next to the DJ Booth, the bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. It has a typical rectangular bar with the stage in the center. They do have a kitchen and the food looks good, one guy ordered a pasta dish next to me and he seemed very pleased.
The dancers are mostly Latina but there are quite a few that are just past their prime. I would rate the girls between 5-6 with an occasional 7. What is dragging this place down is the quality of the dancers. Too many of them are in their 40's and 50's and too few of them are in their 20's. The bartenders are all cute and friendly but they always push for you to buy drinks for these ugly dancers. I did not get any dances but they are available and I believe they are $20 or $25, when I have gone for dances in the past I found them to be uninspired, also the chairs in the lap dance area are not very comfortable.
