Middle of the road
Went last week during the afternoon from about 2:30pm - 4ishpm. Wasn't expecting to be wowed by anything, and upon leaving that was exactly my experience. DV is your run of the mill club, big bar in the middle, extra tables/games in the back. No doorman/cover. Dances occur downstairs post renos from years and years ago.
Guy tending bar was nice enough. Got a domestic for 5 and change. Place was relatively empty, would say about 15 patrons, and 6-7 girls working that I saw. Maybe because it was lunch time, but I saw a good amount of people eating food. Not to say that it is weird, but out of the 15ish people there, I would estimate at least 10 had something to eat. Wasn't venturing down the food path on this visit, so maybe they have a half decent menu, who knows.
As for the dancers, all were white, many of whom had tattoos. There was one who might have been mixed, but I couldn't really tell from my vantage point. This trip was last week so I unfortunately dont remember any names. Looks I would say in the 6-7 range. 2 song set, tip parade behind the bar. Won't wow you looks wise, but definitely enough to get by. Energy on stage varied according to the dancer. Some look like they just woke up, other looks like they were on a bender. I have always been partial to those that put on a good(ish) stage show. Not expecting USA level gymnastics up there, but at least make some type of effort. That always gets a few extra bucks from me. Tip parade was relatively low. All of the ones that came around at least tried to strike up a mini 60 second convo before asking for a tip. Even with the awkward large bar in between. It is a nice change from the dancers who just stroll up, put out there and hand don't say anything. But then again some guys appreciate this to get the uggos moving along. To each their own I guess.
