Not as bad as I thot, but I get the reputation

Onyx had a free VIP entrance so I decided to go with a friend who was on the bill Thursday. Parking was 20 bucks when I got there at 10:30. Parking lot was being awkwardly managed. They got spotlights flashing off the building like this a place we’re proud to be. I got a solid but not overly handsy pat down before entry.

The place is spick and span and the stools, booths and floors are well maintained. The place is way smaller than I think it’s perceived to be. There’s a bar to the right of your entrance with no TV. There’s another bar directly with a huge TV that’s a decent watch. There’s a stage with polls running down the middle of the club. There are booths right next to the polls and more booths across from the ones by the poll. There’s a mirror on the right that makes the main room look bigger but it’s small.

There’s seating behind the bar with the TV as well as in front of it. The bathrooms are to the left of the bar with the TV. The attendant was polite. The VIP rooms are to the right of the bar with the TV. I didn’t go in but the doors are solid. Looks very private. And the security guard is on top of who’s sniffing around VIP but didn’t check the actual door.
