A Weekday Trip to Wax

I decided to give Wax a shot on a Tuesday afternoon shortly before 5PM. Upon arriving there are parking spots that are designated as $10 which are closer to the door and $5 near the rear of the building. After backing into one of the $5 spots, I walked up and received a light pat down from a security guy who was posted outside. Upon entering the lobby, I paid $10 for admission. I made a quick visit to the restroom and then grabbed a bottled water for $5. There are no restroom attendants inside of the restroom. The size of the restroom wouldn’t permit one anyway.

The building is a basically a warehouse that has been transformed into a club. There is a bar located to your right as enter the main area from the lobby. There is also another bar located in the back between the DJ booth and restrooms, although it wasn’t in use during this visit. There are four stages located in the center of the club. There is a mixture of low top and high-top seating.

In terms of the dancer of makeup the majority were Black. I saw one white girl. About four or five Latinas had trickled in before I left around 6:45. The dancers appeared to range in age from their early 20s to some who may have been a little closer to 40. From what I could tell, most of the dancers had natural bodies with something for every size and shape preference. There was a decent dancer to customer ratio. The majority of the customers appeared to be early 30s to early 60s and seemed to be relaxed.
