Back after a while

DD Manville is the old Frank's Chicken House building that's been there forever. It's pretty easy to get there off of 287, if you're coming from the north your GPS will take you down 22, might a right at the Infiniti store onto Finderine Ave and keep going until you hit Washington Ave. If you're coming from the south, your GPS will have you get off at exit 12 and take you to some backroads until you make a right onto S Main Street, and Washington Ave is a few blocks down the road. There's plenty of street parking, don't park in the lot across the street from the club because they do tow from there.

No one mans the front counter anymore because the only employees there are the girls, the DJ, the manager, and sometimes a bouncer. So just walk into the main room and they'll collect your entry fee and give you a water. You have a long stage in the middle with two poles, and a bar at the far end. Again, no one mans the bar, and there's no reason to sit there. They recently ripped up the carpet and put down some real flooring, which is nice, the carpet was probably the original from when the building was first put up. There's chairs around the stage and the outside of the room, and there's a raised section just to your left as soon as you enter, that some of the girls hang out at when they're not on stage. The lap dance area is off to the right behind the VIPs rooms, it's just one long couch in open view of everyone back there. The VIP rooms aren't big, they have a couch in them and walls as thin as office cubicles. One thing to note, don't come to this club if you have a problem with being the only guy there. Even on Friday and Saturday nights, there's never very many customers in the club, and even during prime time you might find yourself as the only customer. So if you find a girl that you like, get her number so you can text her and have her ready for you when you get there.

The lineups here have actually been pretty decent, they're a lot bigger than they used to be. Phoenix, who's just Ramona after a rebrand, is my old reliable, except she's going through one of her phases where she does her hair up in long dreads, and that just looks ugly on her. Normally we always have a nice longer conversation about the plight of the Southern Sea Otter, however I passed tonight because of the hair. There was a hispanic girl I hadn't seen before named Winter (insert your GoT jokes here) with long black hair and lips that look like she has them filled once a week, she was nice enough to talk to, and wanted to enjoy a conversation with me about the migration of the monarch butterflies. But I decided to pass, it wasn't the kind of conversation I wanted that evening. So I hung out until Lilly came out from the back, she's a very attractive AA that has always enjoyed having a conversation about the Mandelbrot set, even though we only converse every once in a while. But it had been a while since we last chatted, so I figured it was as good a night as any to compare notes on other mathematical formulae. So I paid the normal $225 so we could talk about the dissertation at length as needed. I didn't hang around after that, the rest of the lineup didn't look all that appealing to me that night.
