Artless dances in an unremarkable place

I arrived on a Thursday about 9pm after a 20-minute/$20 ride share from downtown (going back was slightly cheaper). Cover was only $7. The club was fairly large with a couple of stages and bars and a bunch of tables with padded metal chairs around them. It felt very basic, but not seedy.

There were many dancers working, mostly Latinas. Many were a bit unfit, but most of them were fine. I didn't find any of them particularly stunning or attractive. The ones I interacted with were friendly, though many had little English and I'd say most had a "want a dance" approach.

The stage shows were terrible. The dancers sort of stood on the stage looking awkward or bored, maybe moving slightly to the music. There was no attempt to entertain at all.
