Nice club, mediocre experience

Silk is very convenient if you're already in downtown Milwaukee; it was just down the block from the hotel I was in. Cover was $15, and they offered a free coat check, which was nice given a chilly walk to their door. The club is long and narrow, stretching out from the entry door with a bar on the right, several small stages, and seating throughout. They have some VIP seating areas slightly raised on the left, which is also where they have the curtained-off VIP dance rooms. The bartender didn't charge me for a soda.

The club is nicely furnished and doesn't feel old or worn out. But the long, narrow arrangement made it feel crowded even when there weren't that many people there. It could be hard to move through the club past the bar. It also made watching the stages a bit awkward unless you happened to get one of the better seats. The stage shows themselves were fine, but I found them less interesting than my last visit a bit over a year ago.

The dancers were pretty good looking, mostly white but with several black and Latina dancers. They were generally fit, with a mix of body shapes, and most had natural bodies. Several were cute, but none were stunning or especially eye catching.
