Kind of an uneventful trip.
I decided to hit up Hiliter on a Saturday afternoon just after lunch. This was not the Saturday before the Super Bowl. I have been trying to get time to write this review but the actual trip was about three weeks ago.
When I walked in the venue was small and dimly lit. Most of the clubs I have gone to the main stage was two stories tall and had a tall pole. However, this club doesn't have a lot of vertical height so it limits what can be done in the way of pole tricks. The bar is to the right and the main stage is in the back center of the room. With the VIP area to your left. There was a guy sitting right in the middle of the room that was counting money. I know it is a chore of a business I just feel like there is probably a better place fore that.
The hostess came and asked me what I would like to drink and I ordered an iced tea. They didn't serve iced tea and she offered me a lemonade. So if you are looking for something without alcohol and without sugar you may not find it here.
The stage show had a curvy blonde on it that was just kind of standing next to the pole and shaking her ass. I am not sure if she was a baby stripper and didn't have many pole tricks or if the low ceiling height was partly to blame. I was approached by a very pretty Cuban girl that didn't speak much English. She was a not one that was going to have a talk before asking if I wanted a dance. She pitched the idea very early. That may have been due to her lack of English skills or just how she rolls. I'm not sure. I did find her attractive so I figured I would see what the prices were. She said 10 dollars for a dance at the table and 25 in the VIP. When I asked what the difference was she said that the VIP was more private. I took her up on the VIP dance.
She led me to a small booth behind a wall on the main floor. The dance that I got was not very good, Most of the grinding that she did was with her knee and leg. The whole experience was very mechanical and assembly line feeling. I stopped after one dance and gave her 25$. I didn't feel like the dance was worth a tip or to continue with more dances. When she was showing me back to my table I saw her drop the five off with the guy that was counting money. So the five must be the house fee. I don't feel like that is bad it's just worth mentioning.
