the pony that won't grow up

I have been here many times (a few times a month) over the past several months, usually Thurs, Friday or Saturday. So although the write-up is the most recent encounter, a few thoughts on other visits intermingle.

Walked in early (9:30 pm) on a Thursday night after paying $15 cover. No one was on stage, which is a fairly large raised stage to the right after entry. The stage also has some annoying lights streaming out from inside the stage area that are rather blinding at times. Small bar was straight across the room with chairs/tables scattered about the floor. Several high top tables are near the bar. VIP room is the left. A lapdance room is behind the bar. A pretty waitress offered me a soft-drink for about 5 bucks.

A group of Cuban girls were sitting around on their phones or chatting. I sat down to observe. One made her way over to talk but wasn't my type. In fact maybe only 1 was my type as most were heavier. Sat around for about 30 minutes on my phone when I saw 2 new girls arrive, both more my type. Background music was playing but no DJ and still no dancers. I watched the new girl introduction process. After going into the office to meet the manager cum DJ the girls were taken into a VIP room by same person. Since the DJ closed the curtain, I think this was more than a simple tour. When the girls exited 15 later, I was pretty certain.
