First Phoenix Club - Disappointing

Heard some good things about the Phoenix area sc seen so decided to pay a visit to Sugar 44 while in town for work. Thursday night, not a terrible crowd, probably 15-20 patrons there. $10 cover to enter, beers were rather steep at $8 a pop. Mostly looked like regulars with one group of rather obnoxious bros out for a bachelor party or something (no judgement, I remember those days. lol) Only one stage to the left of the bar when you entered. Grabbed a beer and sat on the bench next to the dressing room to settle in. 10-15 women working. Good diversity with some aa, latina, and white. Mostly natural which I appreciate. Most also had pretty heavy tats FWIW. In terms of looks it was a mixed bag. A couple of 7-8ish, but most were 5-6 IMO. Shortly after I settled a cute aa dancer sidled up and we struck up a conversation. Cool girl, not my type, but very pleasant to talk to. I stayed for a while but all the dancers, especially the few 7+ were really only interested in talking to regulars. Left after about 30 minutes as it was clear there wasn't much opportunity for quality time w/ dancers that looked interesting as they were servicing the regulars. May be OK for locals, but would not recommend for the casual out of town visit. Will try Bourbon Street or Hi Liner next time.
