One Good Dancer Can Make the Night
Man how things can change in just a few months. I just posted a great review of Treasure in October. This experience fell short.
I called the club at about 9pm and asked for Tony. He sent a car to get me and I was at the club within half an hour. You enter the club into a nice foyer with the cashier on the right. The restaurant is on the left. The food is quite good. Tony bypassed the cashier and took me inside to my usual booth. You enter the main club through a set of double doors. There are several tables and chairs around a low stage. The club opens up after that with the bar on your right, lots of tables and booths, and then an elevated main stage in the back. To the left is a plush VIP room with four circular couches. I have gotten very high mileage in there in the past.
The club was not very crowded - neither with patrons or dancers. I was surprised as there were two huge conventions in town. I expected to see over a hundred dancers and nearly every table reserved. But I was one of about 30 customers at 10pm. The talent was definitely far below my last visit. Mostly 6s and 7s. I watched the stage show and had a few drinks but saw no one I wanted to take to the VIP. As midnight approached I was thinking of heading to another club. But before taking off I decided to text a dancer I know there named M'kinna to see if she was coming in that night. To my surprise she texted back that she was upstairs and would be right down. This rescued the evening. M'kinna is a tall blond with a great smile. She was as happy to see me as I was to see her. She said no one was buying dances. We went upstairs for a half hour. Can't remember if it was $300 or $400. I didn't worry about it because she always gives me my money's worth. I ended up having a great time, but only because I was able to link up with M'kinna. Otherwise it would have been a boring night. Definitely not a wild club night for most patrons.
