Not worth much time
I was back in the area for a meeting so decided to check out Torpedoes. I hadn't been there since 2018 and it's gone down hill. As you walk in the DJ both is on the right and there is a long rectangular bar in front of you with seating all around the bar. The section of seating around the bar to the left is raised about two steps. The stage and poles are in the center of the bar. I arrived around 8 pm and the place was about 40% full. This is really is a dive bar with dancing. The owner barely invests in maintenance. Talking to the shot girl (who has been there forever) she said business is slow.
This is a go go bar/bikini club. There were probably 6 dancers on the stage for each rotation - mostly 5s and 6s. Most were Hispanic and Brazilians and were not in great shape (I'm being kind). It's a three song rotation followed by a dollar parade. No one demonstrated any pole skills. Moving from side to side was about the extent of dancing.
Drinks are inexpensive. I think I paid $7 or $8 for a wine. Only street parking available now due to construction. However,I believe that after 8 you can park in the commuter train lot behind the bar. That's where I parked and did not get a ticket.
