All About the Hustle
I used to be a regular here back when it was Blush but dropped in for the first time since January 2020. The last time I was here this spot had only been a Ricks’s location for a short time so I was curious how much had changed. Bottom line is that it looks the same but definitely has a different feel to it.
I dropped in at about 7:30 on a Friday, paid the $10 cover, and stayed until about 9:30. I hit the third floor sports bar first and hung out for a drink there. Ordered a vodka and tonic which came in a shockingly small plastic cup (maybe 6oz?) that looked like it belonged on a kids menu. I should‘ve expected this when the bartender responded to my order by asking if I wanted a single or double (Without thinking, I ordered a single which is probably only half a shot here). The drink was only $8 so I guess they are handling the higher prices with small drink sizes. Oh well, whatever.
Next, I made my way to the first floor. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the tables between the stage and bar are now marked reserved where before it was open for anyone. As a result, everyone was crowded at the bar. Instead of fighting for a seat, I went to the second floor and hung out there for a few.
