Very Vivid Vibe at Vibrant Vivide

I hadn’t been to Atlanta since last April and was eager to return to Vivide, even though I didn’t expect much on a Tuesday afternoon. I was planning a 1:00 arrival, but ended up not getting there until 2:00. The lot was kind of full, but there was no charge to park; there was a cursory pat-down at the door and $10 to get in.

The club layout has been described in many prior reviews, but here’s what I think is important: Unlike most strip clubs, there’s no stage and no stage dancing – Vivide is all about lap dances and VIPs, so bring plenty of money. Aside from maybe a dozen seats at the bar, all other seating is in large open booths – each with three benches in a U shape, with a low table for drinks and room for 6-8 people. If it’s crowded, you will share a booth with others. This (and at the bar) is where lap dances are done, so it’s not ideal if you’re shy or not able to ignore the fact that others can see almost everything that goes on. Just wanted to get the negative stuff out of the way before moving on to what will cause Arizona Turd Blossom to scream “Club Ad!”.

Entering from the upper level, I was pleased to see that the room below was pretty full of naked girls giving dances throughout. My kind of place. I joined up with shadowcat and Rod8432 (and later doctorevil) who were sitting with some lovely girls at a booth back near the girls’ dressing room – a good place to see who’s working. I didn’t count the girls, but there were plenty to go around. All were very attractive, and while there were many slim girls (my favorite), there was something for just about everyone. Lots of Latinas (as expected), some gorgeous black women, and more white girls than I expected. I got a chance to catch up with a couple of former Follies girls I’ve known for years. More and more dancers kept streaming in, and when I left about 4:15, there must have been several dozen of them. Not bad for a Tuesday afternoon.
