The beer is cold and they are a friendly bunch

Have had a number of opportunities to stop by RAB over the past few months. I’m going to start with the punchline. At the end of it all, their beer is cold and they are a friendly bunch. Nevertheless….

The place has a decent sized parking lot, which, most of the time, will be enough for the entire group of attendees. Parties can be a bit difficult around happy hour time (even with no happy hour specials). But even so, take a lap or two and you can usually get a spot. Parking on the street seems viable at least right next to the bar, but the neighborhood doesn’t LOVE this place - adjacent homes have cameras facing the parking lots, most likely looking to catch someone in an act that they can complain about. Do be careful out there!

You go in and it’s a pretty small bar, shaped like a question mark with a stage in the curved section. All three ladies who bartend are pleasant and will remember you quickly. They are nice and willing to chat with you, and they are happy to make change for you to fend off the dollar parade. Beer prices are reasonable, and buying a lady a drink doesn’t require an extra fee.
