Hippo is a solid bet!

I stopped into this place on my last trip to Vegas. As several others have mentioned I also remember this place fondly from the OG days. Overall I'd say I had a good experience here across several visits. This place kind of reminds me of Vegas from 5-7 years ago. Specifically when lap dances were 20 bucks from gorgeous girls that traveled from all over to work in Vegas. Prices at most of the top tier Vegas clubs have increased dramatically and I've found myself largely priced out.

I took the limo or walked over to the Hippo (I was staying at the Strat so it was a short walk). When I got a ride I tipped the limo driver 10 bucks and I never got charged a cover. Most of the other clubs now charge a cover even if you arrive in their transportation. This club seems to be pretty middle of the road for most things, but in a good way. Its not the fanciest club inside but it's nice and comfortable. The drinks aren't the most expensive but they aren't as cheap as they are at Palomino or CB. The girls are hot but I didn't see any 10's. Its a good experience at a reasonable price, for Vegas.

I went in on a Thursday to watch the NFL game. The game wound up being a snooze but I got distracted by a couple girls. The girls ranged from not particularly attractive to hot (let's say the worst was a 4 and the best was an 8). During the game drinks were cheaper. I think I got a bucket of beers for around 30 bucks. There was some confusion about the price and prices definitely went up later in the evening. The girls hung out and chatted for awhile before asking about dances or VIP. I didn't feel rushed or like there was a big upsell. I got a few floor dances and felt like the value was decent with good two way contact. I took two girls back to VIP with different results. The first girl gave me a good dance with lots of contact and was very enthusiastic about her dances. The second girl was unremarkable. She danced but it just seemed like she was going through the motions and wasn't very into it. I only did the $125 for 15 minutes option.
