Through a Glass Darkly

First visit to a Tucson Club (most of my AZ visits are to Phoenix). Note that this was on a Tuesday night during Xmas season, so it may not be totally representative. Parking was good, right behind the club in a well-lighted lot. They have a sign for VIP Parking, but I did not explore that option as I parked about 50 feet from the entrance.

There is a sign at the door saying, 'no weapons in the club or on the property.' Fine with me. The bouncer greeting me upon entering searched me with a metal detector to assure that I was not exercising my Second Amendment rights. No problems, he was reasonably respectful.

The entrance fee was $5. More than reasonable and probably helpful in keeping off the riff-raff. (Check what it might be on weekend evenings.) I tipped the door girl. The bouncer said that he could seat me anywhere I wanted. As usual, I said 'ring-side' on the main stage.' Unnecessary, as the club was mostly empty except for a dozen what appeared to be 'regulars' at the bar and on the floor tables.
