Friendly Spot with a Few Fun Surprises.

Last minute business brought me to north Scottsdale, so I followed advice from here and checked out The Candy Store. Conveniently located on a major intersection in a moderately safe neighborhood. The Red lights saturating the outside of the building make it easy to spot. It looks bigger from the outside, but it's big enough.

Walk in to a cashier with an ice trough of beer. $10 cover and $5 water for me. Bar with DJ on right. Main stage on left. Bathrooms across from bar and pool table far right. VIP is behind main stage and clearly marked in neon. EVERYTHING is outlined in mostly red neon.

Sat in the odd side couch chairs that remind me of a "higher end" bowling alley. Saw a petite cutie in a hoodie and bikini panties make eye cintact and then sit down by herself, giving an oddly shy vibe.
