Won't be back anytime soon

I stopped here weekday Tuesday afternoon recently. Club rio using an ok part of town near some restaurants and not too far maybe 5 mins from I465. The parking lot is kinda crappy but no biggie.

Cover was 5 bucks mid afternoon.

After my eyes adjusted I saw only a few people scattered around. Club rio is just like I remember it. Kinda has a vintage vibe and not busy at all. There are 2 small stages in the center of the room but no dancer to be found. Past one of the stages and up a few steps is the bar area. I paid 7 bucks for a Coors light on tap. The beer was kinda warm unfortunately.

After a while I noticed only 3 dancers all sitting with customers. Kinda hard to assess their appeal when they are across the room and it's so dark. Two of the girls were blonde highlights and both on the older side easily over 30 years old. The other dancer was an AA girl, younger, thick but pleasing to look at. The AA girl approached me eventually and we had some small talk. Evidently there will be no stage dancing because of the lack of customers. She also said it's been slow lately so not many dancers come in the afternoon moreso on the weekends. She said she used to dance nearby at the Pony?

Evidently, the Pony has a lot of dancers now, maybe too many that it's hard to make $$$.
