Encouraging, but still more to find out

I had some extra time in the afternoon so I decided to visit a local club. But my first stop (Riverside Corral) wasn't very interesting (dancers were nice but didn't engage me at all). I didn't have much expectations for my second stop which was Trophy's (formerly Shimmers). They have become very strict with the private dances.

So I had a little bit of time left before my next appointment and decided to stop at DV8. This used to be one of my favorite clubs about 10 years ago. But they put cameras in the dance areas and I just kind of drifted away. After reading some recent reviews on this site, I thought I'd give it another try and I'm glad I did.

Physically, it's been described in many other reviews. It's just like it was ten years ago but seemed a little nicer. Maybe it's because the lights were a little lower. The main room has a long rectangular stage area with regular rack seating on three sides; the other long side has stools and a high drink bar.
