Return to Vics. A shadow of it's former self.

So I haven't been back to this old haunt in a while - not since the new exterior.

Lighting inside is about the same: you're eyes adjust while you're paying your $10 door fee. Don't just walk in, you'll get holla'd at. Walk through the exterior door, and you're in a vestibule. Close you eyes for a second to let them adjust, then go through the second door and stop, turn to your left, and say hello to the bounder and hand over $10. then you're good to go.

Barside has returned post covid, but its just an OTC twerking situation from what I could see. The far back seats are still the best, but the day's of getting more than air are probably gone - on account of the dance booths. You'll notice them against the back wall striaght ahead as you walk in - with the bar to your left. Take a second to look at the offerings in the vending machine: bottom row :). Never leave home without one ! IF you do get a dance, your date may ask you for a $1 for this treat on the way in.
