I went to the Candy House Cabaret at 22:00 on a Thursday night. The strip club looks to be a house that was converted into a strip club. I almost passed it by in the dark. The windows are blacked out, and there are no lights on the whole property except for one by the door. The parking lot is gravel and surrounded by woods. There was one male employee that basically served as the cashier, bartender, bouncer, and manager. The cover charge was $16 and it included two sodas or juices. I got two cans of Coke. There was a stack of plastic Solo cups on the counter. I was allowed to take one of these cups out to my vehicle, fill it with beer or alcohol, and go back inside the club to consume it. I happened to have a cooler full of beer in my truck, so needless to say I was walking in and out of the house all night to refill my cup.

The bar is on the left as you enter. It is very small with only enough room for four stools. A couch and a fish tank are to the right. Straight ahead is the main stage. It is an island with a spinning pole in the middle. There are fourteen seats surrounding the stage for tipping. As far as I could tell, there were two rooms for private dances downstairs and four VIP rooms upstairs on the second floor for timed blocks of dances. You have to walk up a spiral staircase to get upstairs. Combining this with the three or so steps from the parking lot into the house, Candy House Cabaret is not handicap accessible. The ATM has a $200 withdrawal limit per transaction and charges a $6.80 fee.

There were ten dancers working. Four dancers were 3’s or lower and shouldn’t be in this line of work. One dancer was a ho-hum 6. The other five dancers were young, fit, and 7’s or higher. Dancers pick their songs off of a computer before they go on stage. Entertainers did three song sets. Most dancers got completely nude on stage, but some kept their bottoms on if there were no tippers. I was able to tip dancers in their g-strings when they had them still on, but once the dancers got nude, I had to toss the dollars onto the stage.
