Do You Smell That?!!

Against our better judgment we hit Deja Vu after a disappointing trip to another Lake City club Pandora’s. We should have cut our losses and called it a night. DVLC is a couple miles north of Pandora’s and Dreamgirls at Ricks, another Deja Vu club. Maybe we should have stopped there. But since the days of the original Rick’s it is a disappointment, too.

When we arrived the parking lot had about 20 cars in the huge lot. So we hoped it was a good sign.. it wasn’t. At the front desk we could see partly into the club and it looked empty and was quiet. We asked if there were any girls there. The cashier insisted there wer lots. There weren’t. We paid $22. Over twice what we paid ar Pandoras before 6:00. This club charges even more ($30) if you pay with a credit card.

We walked past the bathroom at the front and around the corner. The place looked deserted. There were a couple of customers sitting alone and one dance on stage. My coworker likes thick women but he even commented on his displeasure at the rear view he was getting if the girl on stage. If fat and cellulite is your thing you might like that girl. Not our thing. We sat down. The waitress asked if we wanted our drinks. Shit, we paid $22. Of course we want our watered down sodas.
