The Saturday night dancers were not what I was expecting
So, I have been out of the strip club game since COVID hit, but even before that, the quality of clubs and fun for your money was already declining in my area. Even during these lean times, the one bright spot was PH - every time I had a business trip to Philly, PH was always on my itinerary. As luck would have it, my business required a short trip to Philly and I thought I would be able to finally get in on some great fun at PH. I went Saturday around 7:45 PM.
The guy at the door said it was a $10 cover charge, which surprised me since most reviews say it's $15, but maybe he was discounting the cover because of the "stable" of girls he had dancing (and I can almost use the word stable literally). As I walked in, on the stage closest to the bar (the stages are surrounded by the bar as has been reported previously) was the biggest, flabbiest, dancer slowly shuffling her feet on stage. And then, things got worse - every dancer on stage looked like she could play offensive line for any major college. The only dancer who looked like she wasn't a candidate for open heart surgery real soon was a thin, flat chested girl with tattoos all over her body who looked like she was high on heroin. I stuck around for about an hour and a half, hoping that things would get better, but even the women walking in wearing street clothes didn't look any better. I remember reading a review that said the afternoon girls were better than the evening crew and I think I believe it. Luckily it only cost me the 10 and a few singles I handed out, mostly out of pity. I didn't get any names except one was named Georgia.
