They just need more Girls

I had not been back to Diamond in over a year and it hasn't really changed. It is still the same as it has always been. I will begin with the outside, I arrived around 5:30 pm and unlike most NYC clubs this place actually has a small parking lot out front. For the first time ever the parking was mostly empty, I go inside past a curtain and I was surprised for the first time ever there was no guy at the door. No bouncer, nobody checking ID or vaccination status, I just walk in like it's my house. Inside there is a large rectangular bar with 3 poles directly in front of you and a lounge area with another bar to your right. Lap dances are in a second lounge area to the rear right side and the only bathroom with a single urinal is at rear left of the building. This place had remodeled and was closed from November 2019 when it was Club W all the way through the pandemic. It reopened over a year ago in the middle of the pandemic and they had installed new poles new bar and seating. So I was surprised when I saw the center pole was bent. I had never seen this and didn't think it was possible, I can only imagine the fat ass bitch that was capable of destroying a stripper pole.

Once inside I ordered a beer for $10 and grabbed a seat. There were only 3 other customers in the bar, the bartender was a tattooed light skinned black girl who was dressed like a stripper and may have been one. Besides her, there were 4 girls actually working, all women of color, and two were sitting with two of the other clients so there was not much to choose from. The girls ranged in looks from a 6-7 on a scale from 1-10. Eventually Lulu, a 27 year old Afro Puerto Rican comes up to me and I ask her to dance for me barside. She asks if I'll buy her a drink and I oblige for $12 which they serve in a plastic cup. She was cute but her dance was not good, she basically did an air dance. I tried to coax her into more contact but she wanted to talk. She tells me that she also works at Lace in West Nyack and then of course I understand, no wonder her dance was terrible. After a while no other girls were coming around so I decided to leave. I did not inquire about lap dances or their prices so I am unable to report on that.

In conclusion the place seems like it is a safe location and a good opportunity if you are into WOC, but they didn't have enough dancers but maybe Wednesday is not the best day, it is worth going on a different day to see if things have changed.
