Afternoon shift at my favorite place
Had a Wednesday off a couple of weeks ago without a million other things to do so decided to make a visit to 44 (I had wanted to visit afternoon shift for a long time).
Pull up around 1230 and notice plenty of parking, but not empty. Lot is small and designed a bit weird. Notice the alley has cones up and roped- if entering the parking lot that way. You can enter that way, but makes it harder to turn into a spot. When I went at nights previously, I would always just park in the Wells Fargo lot as they were closed. This visit parked in the 44 lot and it was fairly easy to get out of even then when I left around 3 and the lot was completely full (I pulled through a space which made it easier to leave).
Inside is same as always. No cover for days. Single stage to the left, bathrooms to the right and bar straight ahead. Got a bottle of water for five dollars and tipped the nice (and nice looking aren't they always!) bartender a few dollars. I asked her if London was working that day and she said she was and pointed where she was (more on London later).
