I hit up Omar’s Showbar on a few Friday and Saturday nights. I hadn’t been to Omar’s since August 2019; Omar’s is uptrending with the per capita attractiveness of dancers higher than any point I can recall in the past. Parking is either on Michigan Avenue or in the lot behind the building. There was a $10 cover charge at the door. All of my visits commenced between 21:00 and 23:40 and went until the 02:00 closing time. One thing that I do not like is that the doorman does not give you a stamp or wristband for reentry. There are some good nightlife options downtown, and it would be nice if you could return back to the strip club without paying the cover charge again. Sixteen ounce aluminum bottles of Sincweiser were $7. Drink service was slow. The club had either one or no waitresses working the busy weekend crowds, which meant people were crowded around the bar trying to get drinks. Food was served from 18:00 to 24:00; menus were on the tables. The ATM has a $800 maximum withdrawal. The ATM charges a 10% fee with a minimum fee of $10.

The club is on two floors. The first floor has the main bar, the main stage, and a side stage. The main stage is a large octagon with two spinning poles. The side stage is a small square with a stationary pole near the east wall. There is a shower stall in the southeast corner of the main room for shower shows. The second floor has the private dance area, the champagne rooms, the restrooms, and a smaller second bar. The upstairs is sometimes referred to as “the lounge”.

Dancers strip down to topless on the main stage. Most dancers will let you tip them in their g-string and give you physical contact at the stage. One tipping method that is commonly seen at this club is guys getting on the stage and laying on their backs with dollar bills in their mouth or somewhere else on their body. The dancers will then mount the customer and use their body to take the tip. On a three song stage set, dancers would typically rake in $50 to $200 in singles. Omar’s has an entertainer cornucopia of body types and ethnicities; there should be a dancer for everyone's palate.
