Consistent Club Rouge

I was downtown on a recent Friday night, so I decided to stop by Club Rouge. Club Rouge is in downtown Portland, so free parking can be hard to find depending on the time of day. There is a paid parking lot right besides the club. There are some free parking spots along the street by Rouge, but they fill up fast especially on a weekend night.

They’ve changed their cover prices a bit. Before it used to be $5 cover on Sunday through Thursday, and $10 all day on Friday and Saturday. Now, it’s $10 all day on every day except for Sunday and Monday. It’s $5 on Sunday and Monday. They open at 5:00 in the evening every day, so if you come in on Tuesday at 5:00, it will be a $10 cover! I’m not a fan of the recent changes, but it is what it is. You get a pat down by the bouncer at the door, and then you walk inside and pay the cover.

When you enter, there are 2 stages in the middle of the club. There is seating to the left and to the right of the club. In my opinion, there is not a lot of seating, so on a busy Friday or Saturday night, you might not be able to find a seat. As before mentioned, there are 2 stages in the middle of the club, there are some mini stages to the right of the club where the minors hang out, and you can tip them there. There are 5 or 6 lottery machines in the back of the club. As far as the restrooms, they are relatively clean on the strip club scale, they have like maybe 6 individuals restrooms, so no complaints there.
