Return Trip After Long Hiatus

It had been a while since I had the chance to go to Cowboy's, so imagine my surprise when I entered and the layout had changed. The "front end" of the club is pretty much the same, with the bar straight ahead as you enter, a main stage in the center of the room, and a satellite stage off to the left. WARNING: It is DARK!!! Like, cave dark!!! Give your eyes a minute to adjust so you're not tripping over tables and chairs. Said tables and chairs are pretty comfortable and padded, around the stage and off toward the rear. Full bar, including beer and liquor. Drinks, in smallish glasses, are around $8.00 for well. Now, down to business. There are three dance options, of which I took two. There are couches behind the DJ and open to the club. Not sure the price on these, as I didn't try them out. Next option is a semi-private booth beside the couches - like a cubicle - that runs $100 for 10 minutes. Still out the in open, but a little more private. Then, they are private rooms - complete with sliding barn door - that run $200 for 20 minutes and $300 for 30 minutes. As for the dances, it really depends on the dancer, so it's best to know the ground rules going in. Two way touching is allowed, with some allowing more than others. I heard rumors, however, that they may be doing away with two way in the cublicles because they felt like too many people were shying away from the more expensive rooms. The dancers ranged this day from 4-8 with an average of 6.5 or 7: OK, but not fabulous. It's worth the visit and i'll be back, but it's not a destination place.
