This is an update of the general climate at the Mill. Demand is down all over the Baltimore area, maybe beyond. Be it inflation, the economy, employment or something else, the clubs have less customers spending money and they and the girls are feeling it. There are more new girls coming into the market, many because their own financial situation has changed. The market has also caused a lot of veteran girls to try other clubs seeking better dollars. In addition, the Mill went on an ill timed firing spree, adding further turnover to the roster. One of the Mill’s strong points has always been reliably posting its dancer schedule each week and having that schedule be fairly accurate, in part due to the dancers’ employee status. Casey used to post it on her IG on Fridays. Now you have to wait until Monday at noon, but at least it’s there. Not sure why they don’t post in on the Millstreamgirls IG page where they post everything else (incl lots of promo ads with models who don’t work there; I think I saw one with Emily Ratajkowski - spoiler alert, she doesn’t work at the Mill) but whatever. They used to have a gallery of professional pics of the actual dancers but that’s been gone for a while.

I’ll get to the impact of this change in climate momentarily, but first, the particulars. Nothing has changed about the building, parking or cover charges. Tip walk and a third cleanup song are still in play. Read any of my old detailed reviews on those points. The bathroom is still smelly. Don’t wear flip flops here unless you like your toes splashing on a piss covered floor.

The dancer roster is lean. There are WAY less girls working on a given shift and many of them are new. There are still some solid regulars like Lacey, Riley, Renee, Rachel, Ivy and Paradise. There are some good looking newcomers like Scarlett, Azula, Autumn, Penelope, Kat and Selena. With the turnover, however, it’s harder to know who will reliably deliver a good experience. Nunu got engaged and bartended for a while and left. Missy also is gone and Lotus bartends maybe once a week. Chyna, JoJo, Eden, CiCi, Natalie and maybe JuJu (not scheduled this week) are gone. That’s a loss of some serious firepower. Some were fired for trying out other clubs. Shortsighted decisions because the customers follow the girls, a lesson the Mill should’ve learned when it pulled in new customers following new girls when it was one of the few clubs open during the pandemic and lost those customers when the city clubs reopened and the city girls left. There are now many less girls on a given shift. This is likely in part due to the turnover and also because the club is rarely crowded and there’s not enough cash to support the 15+ girls who used to be working on weekend nights.
