Mixed experiences at casual day-shift only club
This club is a dayshift-only club, open noon-7pm every day. It's about 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis, through a tangle of overlapping highways across the river. It's a distressed area, but was quiet and unobjectionable during the day. There's a fenced-in gravel parking lot. Inside was very dark after the bright daytime, and then merely dim. The club is one large rectangular room, with a bar running much of the length of the long wall. There were stages on either end, neither used, a pool table, and a handful of tables and chairs. It was much larger than it needed to be, given the small crowd, and was clean and in decent shape. I wasn't charged a cover. A bottle of water was $7. A drink for a dancer was $12.
There were more dancers than I expected for the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday, with at least a dozen of them about. Two were fairly old (for dancers), and several were somewhat unfit. A few were cute. Most were unremarkable either way. All were white except one fit black dancer. All but one (one of the older dancers) had unenhanced bodies.
Lap dances were available on one of a few couches on one end of the room. They were $20-$25 each, but with an extra fee to the bar. One dancer sold it as two for $25, plus $20 for the bar, so 2/$75. Another offered 2/$60 ($20 to the bar, then $20 each). There were private rooms of some sort. More than one dancer told me it was $60 to the club for those, and then a "set" $300 to the dancer. The time suggested was very uncertain, with numbers from 15 minutes to 45 minutes and everything in between. There was innuendo of more than just dances in there, but it wasn't something I pursued.
