No go on a Sunday

Decided to stop by the LS on a Sunday evening. I forgot they don't start until 7 pm on Sundays and arrived 5 minutes before they opened. $7 valet and $20 at the door. I guess cover starts with the night shift even when there's no day shift. I remembered when cover was $10 but that was when they weren't also charging $20 per visit downstairs. I walked up the stairs and was greeted by the friendly bouncer who asked me where I wanted to sit--I always opt for the bar. The layout has been described before--the stage is in front of you as you enter and the bar is on the left.

I sat down at the bar, ordered an $8.50 beer and surveyed the scene in front of me. The club had opened, the lights were low, the music was playing, and there was exactly one girl on the floor. That one girl got up on stage to dance and I thought well, it's early, more girls will be here soon. I sat waiting and watching, nursing my beer looking for someone to talk to. One hour later there were exactly three girls on the floor, 2 caucasians and 1 AA, none of them above a 5. At this point I was peeved--if you're going to charge $20 to get in on the first shift on a Sunday you better have something to look at. Not willing to contribute more to this money grabbing management, I cut my losses and headed out.
