A New Jersey Institution .

I have been visiting PH for many years, but not at all in the last three or four. This was my first visit since the legal issue and since COVID. I am happy to report that the club is just as I remembered it. Pink on the outside, dark on the inside, with a long rectangular bar, stage in the middle and a friendly bartender dispensing water and soft drinks. Even some of the dancers were the same. Had a seat at the bar and the parade begins. The older dancers were a bit friendlier but the new ones stopped by and well, were new. It appears that the new girls congregate in the corner near the entrance.

I had the opportunity to try a little old and a little new. Again I am happy to report that the PH is just as I remember it. A good time is pretty much assured. One improvement is that the rooms now have numbers on both sides of the doors, and the timekeeper calls the number of dances by room number. No misunderstandings.

Perhaps it is time for the PH to be recognized for being the enduring institution that it is. Maybe a roadside plaque is in order.
