A Bit Slow

It has been awhile since I’ve been to Ricks (maybe six months) so I decided to stop by on a Wednesday afternoon to see what was going on. I’ve written a Ricks review before and several others have described the place / layout so I won’t go into that as nothing has changed. I arrived at about 1:30 in the afternoon. The bouncer greeted me at the door and the check-in girl checked my ID. There was no cover charge at this time of day. I went straight to the bar and ordered a Coors Light which to my surprise was only $5. There were two other guys at the bar, but no girls to be found. However after about five minutes one girl came out of the fireplace room with a patron. They said their goodbyes and she made eye contact with me and joined me at the bar. I forgot her name but she had only been working there a few months. She is a nice girl but I wasn’t feeling the attraction. As we were talking several more girls drifted into the place over the next 15-20 minutes. During our discussion I asked about prices. The fireplace room is still $150 for 15 minutes in the afternoon. I forgot to ask about evening prices but if I recall I believe that price goes up to$200. The 30 minute and 60 minute VIP rooms have gone up in price and she quoted me $360 and $660 respectively. Inflation has definitely shown up as I believe these were $300 and $600 last time I was here. After a while the girl that was sitting with me got called up on stage for her set. I decided to move to the dance area to check her out as well as the other girls that came in. Other patrons had now come to Ricks as well as a few more dancers so it was starting to get a bit busy for a weekday afternoon. I think there was about six dancers with all of them being white with one AA. The AA was very cute with a very nice body but she never made it to me. One of the other girls did come over to talk and offered a floor dance for $20 which I took her up on but again the attraction wasn’t exactly there so we stopped at that. After another beer and another 30 minutes I decided I had seen enough and headed out.

Ricks used to be one if my favorites but I’ve been spending more time at DTC as I feel my dancing dollar goes a bit further. The girls at Ricks were probably 5’s - 6’s with the AA being an 8 in my book.
