Sad Sunday Night
Like any true perv, my first stop after arriving at DTW was one of the famed Detroit clubs. First up was Hank's. I arrived about 9, paid my $5 cover and received the meaningless ticket. After grabbing an $8 Miller at the bar, I found a table to scope out the place. As it's been described a million times, I won't bore you with the details but will say that only one stage was in use, and the smoke level, while unpleasant was at least tolerable.
There were 5 girls working on this Sunday night, 2 were unattractive, 2 were decent and 1 was surprisingly hot. After watching a rotation on the stage, I stalked the hot girl and was able to connect with her. She seemed kinda out of it but I forged ahead and asked about dances. She quoted me $20 a dance. I asked what if I want more. She doesn't do more. WTF? How did I manage to find the one puritan in Detroit. Having already invested the time to get her attention I suggested we do a dance hoping that things would loosen up in the back. It's $10 to the house for a bracelet to access the private rooms. The "rooms" are plywood boxes with a bench to sit on and a thin curtain to cover the door. Once inside I received perhaps the worlds worst lap dance. I stopped her after a song, slipped a $20 in her panties and beat a hasty retreat.
Faced with five girls, two of whom were ugly and one who doesn't do extras, I figured my odds of scoring either of the two remaining chicks at Hank's, when there were 20+ guys in attendance, some of whom were making it rain, seemed slim. I decided to cut my losses and head to Bogie's. The guy at the door gave me the coupon for free admission and off I went. Review of Bogies to follow.
