Bad manager advice

I regularly visit this club and have been here maybe a hundred times in 12 years. This strip club has a local reputation of being somewhat overpriced. There are several price issues involved. They charged me ten dollars to get in on my most recent visit. There were only four dancers in the club, not really enough for a stage rotation, so there were periods of sitting and looking at an empty stage. The four dancers were not particularly attractive. Ten dollars is too high of an entrance fee for access to a small number of average looking strippers. This has always been a problem at this club. Another issue is that the club lets the girls charge what they want for lap dances. Young inexperienced girls are not the best judges of strip club pricing policy. They often ask for forty and sometimes even fifty dollars. This is too high for the Indianapolis market. The best club in the city, Brad's, only charges twenty-five dollars for a lap dance. Many guys, myself included, would also prefer a set price rather than variable pricing. A third issue is that the private rooms are too high. There are multiple room sizes with the smallest starting $250 for half an hour and going up from there. One of my regulars here moved to another club because she said she couldn't sell the customers on the high-priced private rooms.

Higher prices might be worth it if this was a high mileage club. It's not really any different than every other local club, though. A majority of girls will allow breast touching but a substantial minority won't. In 12 years of visits the only thing unusual that ever happened to me was a dancer showing me her vagina. The regular lap dances are done in small booth sized rooms but there are cameras watching you. One of my regulars got fired when she was caught on camera doing drugs in the club. There may very well be extras in the more expensive rooms, but the high price keeps me away.

This club also seems to have poor management. On my most recent visit the manager asked me if I wanted a drink. I told him a girl I was wanting to do lap dances with was sitting with a guy and I was waiting for her to go up on stage before I approached her. He said I should go right over and interrupt their conversation and ask her for lap dances. I never go over and interrupt a dancer and another customer while they are sitting and having a conversation and try to pull the girl away from the guy she is with. He should know better than to pass out advice like that. He also started in on a high-pressure sales pitch trying to get me to buy one of his expensive private rooms. He was just generally overly aggressive.
