Background:

Oasis is just barely located in the city of Doraville, and continues to struggle to stay open because of the S.O.B. (sexually oriented business) ordinance brought on by the city. Because of the periodic random raids, the club struggles to stay open, and just recently made it through another court date.

The strip mall across the street was demolished and construction on high end condos or apartments is in full swing now most likely leading to an inevitable closure of the club.
