Dollies Playhouse Is Back

Re-opened on 9/1. I had heard rumors that it was under new ownership and was going to re-open back in July, but July came and went and nothing, so I assumed that the rumors were just rumors and it was closed for good.

So, I was heading to another club and drove past Dollies only to see a bunch of cars in the parking lot. I pulled in and parked and sure enough, the place open. So, I went in to check it out and see if there were any changes. And were there ever.

For starters, no cover charge. I don't know if that was because it was a Monday, because it was just re-opening so they wanted to attract customers back, or because the door guy just didn't care. Whatever the reason, I got in for free. If they implement a cover charge at a later point in time, so be it. Previously, it had not been an unreasonable amount, 3 for weekdays, 5 for weekends.
